Terms and Conditions
Placing an Order
When contacting me to commission a portrait, I will discuss with you your requirements for your portrait (The size, layout, additional animals to be included, if the additional animals will be a head study or a full body portrait) and a quote can be given.
On placing an order for a commission a 30% non refundable deposit will be required.
The portrait will be drawn from photographs. The photographs can be supplied by you and sent to me via email email@example.com or I can take the photo's for you.
Cancellations of the commission must be in writing. Once the work has started on your portrait your deposit will not be refunded.
On completion of the finished portrait, a proof will be sent to you via email for your approval. If you feel the portrait needs any adjustments or alterations, then please contact me within 14 days of receiving the proof and I will alter the portrait for you. Once the alterations have been made, I will send you another proof of the altered portrait for your approval.
Once I have received your approval of the commissioned portrait, I will email a PayPal invoice for the remainder of the cost of the portrait, which will include postage and packaging if any. (You can pay on the invoice even if you haven't got a PayPal account).
The invoice is to be paid in full within 30 days from the invoice date. Once I have received your payment, I will contact you to arrange a convenient date for delivery of your portrait.
I take pride in my artwork and as your custom is valued, I would like to feel that I have left you happy and able to enjoy looking at your finished portrait. If for any particular reason of an 'undamaged portrait' you are not happy with and wish to cancel, this should be put in writing to me within seven working days of receiving your portrait and the portrait must be returned to me within this period, and by doing so, you will automatically give me the right to resell the portrait to reclaim the outstanding costs owed to me.
All finished portraits will automatically be put in my animal portrait gallery on this website www.kayeannalaw.com for promotional use only and may be used on other promotional or advertising material relating to this website unless stated otherwise.
